Postconcussive symptoms and psychological distressShirle Hill Hospital, Sheffield
Department of Clinical Psychology, Northern General Hospital NHS Trust, Sheffield This study assessed the presence of postconcussive symptoms in 50 people who had sustained a minor head injury six months previously. A follow-up of 21 people was carried out. Symptoms persisted and a significant relationship with psychological distress was found. The clinical implications of the results are discussed.
