Postconcussive symptoms and psychological distress

This study assessed the presence of postconcussive symptoms in 50 people who had sustained a minor head injury six months previously. A follow-up of 21 people was carried out. Symptoms persisted and a significant relationship with psychological distress was found. The clinical implications of the results are discussed.
