Reliability of the Stroke Drivers Screening AssessmentStroke Research Unit, City Hospital, Nottingham
Stroke Research Unit, City Hospital, Nottingham The Stroke Drivers Screening Assessment (SDSA) was designed to predict driving performance after stroke. The test-retest reliability was checked to ascertain the practice effect of repeated assessment. Thirty-six stroke patients were assessed on the SDSA on two occasions six weeks apart. Results indicate that significant improvements occur on individual tests of the SDSA but no patient improved from a 'fail' to a 'pass' category as a result of practice.
